HydroHomeSoft™ (HHS) manages many of the activities needed to operate an efficient hydroponics growing system. It can control: lighting cycles; nutrient mixing, top ups and flow cycles; and the grow room environment.

Go ahead and take that short vacation and don't worry about your plants. HHS will take care of them for you. If issues arise, HHS will notify you and/or your emergency "Backup Gardener" by email.

HHS is designed around a set of USB enabled controllers known as Phidgets. These devices are used to sense nutrient level float switches in growing containers. When levels fall to a preset point, a nutrient refill is mixed to your defined formulas for up to three plant growth stages. The larger the reservoir, the more time you have to relax between fill ups.

Light photoperiods can be synchronized to growth stages and automatically changed based on a preset day count. They can also be synchronized to sunrise and sunset to simulate or track nature's light cycles. If a light sensor is fitted, an email can be sent if a low light level is detected.

Timers can be set up as continuous or intermittent. Flood and drain cycles can be set at constant amounts or dynamically calculated based on a preset number of cycles over a given time period.

Phidgets can optionally be fitted with temperature and humidity sensors. This enables the use of a heater/air conditioner and/or humidifier/dehumidifier.
