An automatic updating mechanism is used to keep the program current. This mechanism automatically assigns a location for your personal data files. BE AWARE THAT IF YOU UNISTALL THE PROGRAM, THE FILES IN THIS AUTOMATICALLY ASSIGNED LOCATION ARE DELETED AND DO NOT APPEAR IN THE RECYCLE BIN. If you wish to avoid this situation, you can assign your own “Data File Directory”.
If sensors are attached, values can be periodically saved by checking the ”Log Environment” checkbox. The logging interval is selected from the ”Frequency” list. If a log is not used, historical information will not be available.
RHS logs irrigation cycles, timer ON/OFF events and certain system diagnostics. To enable logging of events check the ““Log Events” box.
Logfiles may be reset at any time by clicking on the associated reset button. When clicked, a backup is created in the “Data File Directory”“ and the current log file is emptied. Only one version per day is saved. If reset is selected more than once in a day, the backup will contain only the latest day’s data.
A daily backup can be enabled by checking the "Do a daily backup" box.
