If sensors have been installed inside, it is necessary to enable them in the ”Inside” tab.
“Temperature” is checked if a temperature sensor is installed. “Temp sensor is precision” is checked if it is a precision Phidget temperature sensor. If a heater is being controlled, the ”Set point” and ”Hysteresis” or range about the set point are set here.
“Humidity” is checked if a humidity sensor is installed. If a dehumidifier is being controlled, the ”Set point” and ”Hysteresis” or range about the set point are set here. To help prevent compressor lockup in the event of rapid cycling, a ”Restart delay” can be selected.
RHS will monitor a sump pump running time and calculate volume pumped if a sensor is associated with the pump. How to install a sensor will be described in the “Building a System” manual. If a ”Sump pump sensor” is installed, check the box and enter the sump pump average flow rate into the ”Calibration” box.
