Irrigation efficiency is maximized if a water meter with integrated flow sensor is installed. If a “Water meter sensor” is installed, check the box and enter the meter flow rate “Calibration” in the box.

RHS monitors average system parameters in an effort to determine when problems are indicated. The range within which flows from the water system are reasonable as a multiple of the average dynamically calculated flow rate for a fully operational system can be specified in the ”Low/high flow signal”.

If no water meter and sensor is installed, irrigation accuracy can be improved by specifying an average “Default flow” rate. This can be determined once the system is up and running.

To prevent interaction between the water flow through an open loop heat pump and active irrigation, check the "Hold irrigation if HVAC is busy" box.
