HydroHomeSoft™ .

Hydroponics systems require lights and pumps to be turned on and off according to various cycles; frequent nutrient mixing to formulas that depend on plant species and stage of growth; and control of temperature and humidity within specific ranges.

There is an array of different hydroponics growing techniques, namely: growing in inert media, aeroponics, deep water culture, nutrient film, Ein Gedi and some hybrids. Generally, only one technique is chosen by the hydroponics enthusiast because employing more than one in the same setup can be difficult to manage. This can lead to inefficiencies, make the growing experience restrictive and, generally, reduce the ability to experiment.

To overcome some of these obstacles to the full enjoyment of the hydroponics experience, and to provide some data for those who like to dig deeper into how hydroponics works, we designed and built HydroHomeSoft™ .

RuralHomeSoft™ .

Living in a rural setting is a wonderful experience. Having space to create gardens is a key benefit of rural life. There can, however, be some issues arising from the need to water gardens in different light, soil and exposures on the same property. If a well is the water source, conservation and flow management becomes important. Additionally, there may be a need to turn external lights on and off, keep a wine cellar at a good temperature in the winter, and dehumidify the basement.

These jobs could be handled by a host of individual timers and appliances. But, imagine using the weather to calculate watering needs on a daily basis for each of your gardens; keeping your wine at a constant temp; and dehumidifying your basement all with a personal computer. This is a job for RuralHomeSoft™ .
